Taxi in Agadir

The petit-taxis are small red (and often old Peugeout) taxis who buzz around all of Agadir.

Most of them have a working taxameter, but many drivers do not want to use it. It’s common to agree on a price before you enter the car. For a trip from Agadir Marina to one of the hotels towards the end of the beach (Sofitel, Iberostar etc.) 20 dirhams is a fair price. The driver would like 50, 40 or 30 dirhams, but they seem to settle for 20 when you offer it.

For a short trip within the city 10 dirhams is more than enough.
